This Preemie Alpaca Is Pretty Much The Cutest Baby You'll Ever See -- Seriously

For those who’ve never seen a baby alpaca before, prepare yourself for some seriously high levels of goofy adorableness.

Old Homestead Alpacas in Walla Walla, WA, introduced a new baby boy to the farm over Memorial Day Weekend. The only problem is, the little guy came way too soon.

The crew kept close tabs on him all throughout his first night on the farm.

Clearly a strong fella, he pulled through the night like a champ.

They’ve kept him outside in a small pasture with his mom so the two could bond as naturally as possible while they provide care for his condition.

First-time-mom Kami stays close by her youngster’s side, constantly humming to him and receiving encouraging responses in return.

He’s being fed formula from a tube (under Kami’s always-watchful eye) to ensure he gets the proper nutrition in a healthy manner.

They weren’t sure what to expect when he came to them so soon, but the tough tyke hasn’t let any challenge get the best of him yet.

With a little help from a crew member, he was finally able to support his own body. He stood up and even took a few steps!

The rest of the herd have all taken to the little guy, too, nuzzling and cuddling up to him.

Of course, nothing compares to his mother’s love, and Kami is more than happy to provide plenty of it.

He still has a long way to go, but with all his strength and the support around him, I think this little cutie is in for a long, love-filled life. You can keep tabs on his progress on the farm’s Instagram and Facebook pages.
