On a small farm near Winnipeg, a newborn lamb named Stormy was rejected by her mother.
But instead of this story taking a dark turn, something funny and incredible happened. This little lamb ended up being adopted by someone you’d never expect.
But I guess that’s okay, because Stormy met one-year-old Tammy who quickly adopted her. According to Stormy’s owner, “Even though Tammy’s never had a litter, she’s so mothering to that little lamb.”
“I was outside working all day,” she continues, “and I’d turn around and they’d be lying under a tree sleeping, or just hanging out.”
Tammy’s owner told CTV News that she’ll make sure they’re never separated, giving this unlikely duo the chance to play forever.
