Girl Shamelessly Tries To Trade Body For Tattoo, Gets Knocked Back Perfectly

I’ve found that self respect is pretty key to life. If you don’t have any, you can often make yourself look ridiculous. And that’s exactly what’s happened here. A tattooist has published the following conversation and it’s fair to say his potential customer is made to look seriously daft. It’s totally not cool to offer up your body as payment for things, as you effectively turn yourself into a prostitute. The girl in this conversation tries her best to bargain down the tattooist, but she is most definitely barking up the wrong tree for a multitude of reasons.

Check it out:

Fair play, it’s great to see someone sticking up for their profession. I think it’s perfectly fair for this girl to get publicly shamed, hopefully she’ll think twice about offering up her booty for discounts again. Get some self respect!

Miss Ink Australia Started Her Tattoo Obsession To Help Cover Her Scars

I could sit here all day and extol the virtues of women with tattoos, I really could. Not only do I find them immensely sexy, but I think that women can pull off ink that men just can’t. Sorry guys.

Imagine my joy then, when I heard about Brittany Allsop – the 22-year-old who was recently crowned Miss Ink Australia 2015. Not just a beautiful woman with some killer ink, Brittany’s story has a lot more to it than posing for a few bikini photos.

Despite her fear of needles, Brittany Allsop was 16 years old when she got her first tattoo. Begging her mother to let her go under the needle, Brittany started her love affair with a small cross and rose tattooed on her wrist. But it wasn’t just the art that she was interested in. Her lust for tattoos started as a method of coping with some pretty intense bullying.

“I used to get picked on when I younger as I had an allergy to mozzie bites,” she told DMA.

“On my legs it used to look like chicken pox scars.

“I used to say I would get tattooed one day and cover my scars.”

Like most beauty pageants around the world, Brittany’s road to the title included competing daywear, swimwear, formal wear and showcasing a talent in addition to her extraordinary body art. While for Brittany her tattoos helped her avoid bullying, her title win actually exposed her to more bullies online who criticised her lifestyle choices.

“It was kind of hard when I first read them, I was shocked that people would go out of their way to criticise,” she said.

“They ask what it’s going to look like when I’m older, but when you’re older no one is going to look as flash as when they were 20.”

Thankfully though her crown as Miss Ink Australia 2015 will allow her to give back. She will be helping this year’s competitors throughout the year, and will also sit on the judging panel at 2016’s event. Currently 15 weeks pregnant (congratulations by the way Brittany!), she says she may consider returning to the stage after she gives birth.

It’s also nice to see that she’s not letting the haters get her down, and is planning to continue her body art although admitting there is “not much space left”.

“I pretty much want everything covered except my hands, neck and face,” she said.

It’s nice to see someone like Brittany use her negative experiences of bullying, and turning it into something positive. Although tattoos clearly aren’t for everyone, a lot of people could learn a lesson or two from this Australian beauty.

These 22 Tattoo Cover-Ups Are Almost Too Amazing To Believe

I am all for tattoos…just not bad ones. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people out there who are stuck with their terrible tattoo decisions. Maybe they were moved by love, or maybe they thought it would be funny to ink a stupid joke onto their bodies forever. In any case, impulsive ideas usually turn into permanent regrets.

Needless to say, people change over time, which means that many tattoos that once seemed like awesome body art eventually become embarrassing burdens. Fortunately, there are talented artists out there who are able to turn those mistakes into epic pieces of art.

1. Because cats can’t sit on the moon like that.

2. I cannot stress enough how much better the new tattoo is. Those colors are unreal!

3. It’s amazing what these artists can do. What was that tattoo originally?

4. Sorry, Katie.

5. It really takes a true artist to be able to work with what’s already there.

6. I’d want to cover up a mushy blob like this, too.

7. This tattoo artist turned a stereotype into something totally original.

8. You can tell that this is the second cover-up attempt.

9. I bet she’s happy she made the first mistake, because it led her to this masterpiece.

10. How’d they cover up all of that color?

11. Love hurts, but it doesn’t have to be ugly.

19. Do you believe in the Illuminati?!

20. Creepy moths are very in right now.

21. Sea creatures are always better than guns.

22. That old rose was definitely looking a little wilted.

Cover-up tattoos are special in their on way, because they’re tattoos that people might not have gotten if they didn’t want to cover up an existing image. Life has a funny way of getting us to our destinations sometimes, but it’s always worth it in the end.

These 31 Little Minimalist Tattoos Are All Absolutely Gorgeous

A lot of people don’t like tattoos because they think they’re aggressive and distasteful. But not every tattooed person is covered in dragons and flames. While I’m not about to judge anyone for their choice in how to decorate their own body, I understand why some people seem to generalize all tattoos as “bad,” just because they don’t see the more delicate versions of ink.

Well, that stops today! Here are 31 totally petite tats that’ll change how you see the art entirely:

1. An olive branch as delicate as the sentiment.

2. Just like a necklace, only permanent.

3. These crisscross flower stems are oh so petite.
