When a group of kayakers were traveling down Wilson Creak, a river in North Carolina’s Pisgah National Forest, they saw something in the water they didn’t expect: an upturned kayak without a rider. Leaping into action to investigate, what they found isn’t nearly as incredible as what they did next.
