This Baby"s Reaction To A Jack In The Box Is Just Too Darn Silly

Babies have very different reactions to things than adults. They don’t quite understand the world as well as we do, so it’s utterly confusing for them sometimes. That’s why something as ordinary as a jack-in-the-box can really make them do a double take.

When this little baby hears a jack-in-the-box go off she’s not sure what’s happening…but the second time? Well, her reaction is downright silly.

What a roller coaster ride of emotions, eh? There’s some fear, joy, apprehension, suspense, and longing in there. She doesn’t know how to react at all! But it made for an absolutely adorable video.

A Few Hilarious Reasons Why You Shouldn't Take Your Baby Black Friday Shopping

Thanksgiving is great — you’re surrounded by family, friends, and copious amounts of food. But the day after, dubbed Black Friday, when stores throw their doors open for epic sales, produces mixed feelings among many. Some choose to ignore the great deals in fear of getting trampled for the last flatscreen TV. Others feed off the excitement, setting their alarms for 3 a.m. in an effort to be the first in line at the register.

But adults aren’t the only ones who experience this struggle — just look at how some kids react:

On second thought, if you are heading to the stores this Friday, I’d suggest paying a few extra bucks for that babysitter…unless you plan on recording the whole thing, in which case, send us the hilarious clips!

When These Pugs Meet Their Baby Brother For The First Time, They're So Excited!

When baby Louie was set to meet his trio of brothers one day, his parents had a problem: how do you introduce a tiny tyke like Lou to a group of wily pugs…and not have them swarm him with love?

Their inventive solution let him meet the dogs on his own terms…just wait until you hear his adorable laughter!

It turns out that while the pugs can’t containment their excitement, neither can baby Louie. We’re sure these four will be fast friends!

When They Dropped Their Son Off At Daycare, It Was The Last Time They Saw Him Alive

Parents have one goal when it comes to sending their kids to daycare: to feel like the people they’ve trusted to care for their little ones are kind, competent, and caring.

But sometimes, proper daycare research can only do so much. If citations against facilities are kept out of public records, parents have no way of knowing the truth. This is something that one heartbroken family in Oklahoma learned the hard way.

When Derek and Ali Dodd — the wonderful parents of two young boys — dropped their youngest son off at daycare in April of this year, they had no idea that he would never come home.

One of the employees at the facility carelessly let little Shepard sleep in his carseat instead of putting him in a crib. She came to check on him two hours later, and when she touched his skin, he was ice cold. Although she called 911 immediately, the damage was already done. Sadly, the infant died from something called “positional asphyxiation.”

Essentially, the baby suffocated in his sleep because he wasn’t properly fastened into the seat.

At an early age, babies don’t have the strength to lift and support their own heads. If improperly fastened in a carseat, infants can become slumped over, which makes them unable to breathe. This act of laziness and disregard for Shepard’s safety on the part of the daycare employee is ultimately what took his life.

The most terrifying thing about the situation is that Shepard’s death doesn’t appear in public records.

Parents looking to keep their kids at this daycare center would then have no idea what happened. Fortunately, the facility has since shut down.

To help cope with their grief, Derek and Ali now work to raise awareness for positional asphyxiation so that parents and caretakers can avoid making this devastating mistake.

To learn more about their heartbreaking story, watch the video below:

No parent should ever have to endure the loss of their child, especially at the hands of someone else’s carelessness. If you want to learn more about the dangers of positional asphyxiation, check out this Facebook page, which was created in Shepard’s honor. This knowledge could save a child’s life.

A Mother Was Shocked When A Stranger Attempted To Fat Shame Her Baby

A loving mother was recently shocked when a stranger attempted to fat shame her baby. “Fat shaming” is when an individual is essentially bullied because of their weight. They are harassed for being overweight or obese, usually with no regards to their feelings.

Bullying others is never the right thing to do…but to bully a baby?

Strangers on the subway called her baby “mad chunky.” If you’ve ever seen a baby…yes, they have adorable little baby rolls.

It’s completely normal for babies to be a little chubby.

Although infant weight problems do exist. In fact, “more babies are overweight today than 20 years ago, too – up from 3 percent to 6 percent for babies younger than 6 months old and up from 6 percent to 10 percent for children younger than 6 years of age.” (via BabyCenter.com)

However, it is more than inappropriate to approach someone and tell them they are fat — let alone that their child is fat. Needless to say, it’s shocking that a girl so young was already dealing with “fat shaming.” Share this if you think bullying needs to stop.

A Sweet Little Girl Plays Peek-A-Boo With Her Own Reflection

Entertaining a child is normally a rewarding (but totally exhausting) experience. You constantly need to come up with new material, or you’ll be forced to pay the consequences. Luckily for these parents, however, their child is far more creative than most when it comes to entertaining herself.

All this little one needs is a mirror and her own reflection to have a good time!

She’s having the time of her life and making things easier for her parents. I’m sure they’re both eternally grateful for that.

22 Tiny Puppies That Turned Into Grown-Up Dogs Way Too Fast

Sometimes it feels like you turn around for one second, and everything’s changed when you look back. Friends from middle school are getting married while you don’t even know what a relationship is, the freshly painted walls are splattered with dings and fingerprints. Something else that happens way too quickly is the transition your dog makes from puppyhood into a full-blown adult.

Just ask these pooches. They grew up in the blink of an eye.

1. The older one keeps getting upset when they’re asked if they’re twins.

2. From “Can I come in?” to “I’m coming in, whether you like it or not!”

3. He still thinks he’s a lap dog.

4. This gentle giant still loves a good hug!

5. You can tell Bruno’s seen some stuff over the years.

6. This pup is a big kid now!

7. He was never comfortable in front of the camera.

8. He’ll be taller than Mom soon!

9. Stop that! Stop growing right this second!

10. These two are still little kids at heart.

11. He might love hugs even more now than when he was a pup.

12. The years keep flying by!

13. Okay, bud, you’re squishing Mommy.

14. “Dad, taking mirror selfies is so six months ago. I’m too old for this.”

15. “Seriously, you can hardly even hold me up anymore!”

16. He sure has grown in size…but he’ll never learn.

17. Am I the only one who thinks this mastiff’s been juicing over the last four months?

18. I think it might be time for this dog to find a new sleeping position.

19. Blue Eyes has only found more and more things to be happy about, like squirrels…and bacon.

20. Where have the years even gone?

21. It’s okay, bud. Some of us have a hard time giving up our childhood toys.

22. Just four months later, and she’s basically ready for college. Someone pass the tissues.

While puppies are great and adorable, growing up with a pup is an irreplaceable experience. The weeks, months, and years you spend growing with each other are made so much more enjoyable through all the slobbery kisses and long walks in the park!

You Won't Believe What This Sleeping Baby Did When His Dad Said 'I Love You'

The mere act of holding an infant brings to mind the fact that you’re starting a brand new chapter in your life. These little ones typically won’t be able to express their gratitude to you for quite some time, but that’s okay. Just knowing that they’re happy and cared for is enough.

The tiny baby in this video, however, is totally capable of showing dad how much he appreciates him.

Not many babies would react like that! By the looks of this video, this father-son duo has a life full of love and happiness to look forward to.

A Weekend Ended In Tragedy, But This Little Girl Refused To Quit Fighting

When Amy Owensby dropped off her eight-month-old daughter Cheyenne with James Davis Jr. — the girl’s father — she had no idea just how drastically her life would change.

After leaving with the thought that her child was in safe hands, Amy soon discovered that Cheyenne was in the worst situation imaginable. The trauma that her precious daughter suffered was every mother’s worst nightmare.

Sometime during her stay, Davis snapped at the sound of his daughter crying and violently shook her. This caused permanent damage to Cheyenne’s brain.

A Baby's Ploy To Get A Few More Minutes Of Sleep Is Nothing Short Of Adorable

We all have those mornings when we just need a few more minutes of sleep. All you have to do is hit that snooze button one more time. But this little cutie doesn’t have an alarm clock yet, so she has to use her acting chops to trick mom and dad into letting her snooze just a little bit longer.

She might not be on her way to the Oscars, but she sure does look cute trying.

Don’t worry, girl! You’ll get that poker face down in no time. For now, snuggle up and keep snoozing.

This Baby Has Lots Of Adorable Best Friends...And They're All Pugs

Every baby needs a best friend. Sometimes that best friend is a blankie, or another baby, or maybe it’s a high chair that seemingly always has a tray filled with Cheerios. But for one baby in Scotland, there is no such thing as just one best friend. This little tyke has tons of best friends…and they’re all adorable pugs.

Louie has been hanging with pugs ever since he was born.

Which, to be fair, wasn’t that long ago…

But the bonds he’s formed with all the pugs he’s hung out with are adorable.

His mom, Lynne, isn’t worried about her son’s safety, or that of the pups.

She keeps a close eye on their playtime shenanigans…

Besides, who could look away from this anyway?!

Louie may only be six months old…

But he already knows how to be gentle and caring with his tiny, furry friends.

Sassy Pants, an older pug, is one of Louie’s favorites.

But let’s be honest…

There’s room for plenty of favorites in this household.

Louis’ mom is shocked at all the attention her pups and son have gotten…

But she shouldn’t be…I mean, look at these faces!

And now that I think about it, the resemblance is kind of uncanny…!

I can’t wait to watch this little boy grow up with his pups!

Okay, can we just bask in this roly-poly glory…

For a tiny…

Bit longer?

You should definitely follow the gang on Instagram and Facebook for updates on all their adorableness! This is one of the sweetest furry little families I’ve ever seen.

When They Were Eating Dinner, This Family Got The Most Amazing Surprise

A son sat down on the couch to open a present one day while his parents looked on. The gift was from his wife, and even though he already knew what was inside, his parents definitely didn’t.

Mom didn’t know what to say at first, but when she and Dad put it together, cuteness ensued.

It’s easy to see that this baby is about to be met with so much love! It must’ve been so hard to keep the big news a secret, but judging by that reaction, it was so worth it.

These Beautiful Yet Fun Baby Photos Are A Little Out Of The Ordinary

Elisha Collins is a professional photographer from the Central Coast of Australia who is no stranger to newborn shoots or couple portraits. So, when her two best friends went to pick up their brand new golden doodle, Humphrey, she came along with her camera in hand.

They didn’t really have any plans going into the shoot…

But Abby and Matt were down to have some fun with it!

Collins knew all the ins and outs of newborn photoshoots…

So…

Just replace the baby with an adorable puppy…

And you’ve got a slightly different brand of baby photo!

Because…

A puppy is just as an important of an addition to a family to some people as a baby is!

So why not pull out all the stops?

Abby, Matt, and Elisha have been friends for a long time, and they share a fun sense of humor.

So you can imagine that the shoot included lots of laughs…

Wandering around with a buggy and a puppy taking family photos can do that.

Humphrey seemed a little timid…

But he grew to love the attention!

They don’t mean to poke fun at people who do this with their human babies…

That is, after all, a big part of Collins’ livelihood.

But who says you can’t veer away from being so serious every now and then?!

For more of Collins’ beautiful work, make sure you check out her website, Facebook, and Instagram! I can’t guarantee too many more puppy photoshoots, but all of her images are really lovely!

This Dog Is SO Jealous Of His Little Brother's iPad...It's The Cutest Thing Ever

Technology is great. It offers plenty of cool ways to communicate with others around the world. But it can also cause us to not pay attention to those right next to us. We’ve all been there: we’re at dinner with someone and we look at our phone, rather than the person across the table. More often than not, your dining partner gets a little miffed…

This dog feels that pain.

“But…I’m right here!”

And he’s not alone in his annoyance with technology…

Doesn’t his bro know that it’s half past cuddle time and his technology is keeping him from those sweet, sweet snuggles?!

This Baby Is Overflowing With Joy. Wait Until You See Why...

Bubble Wrap and other packing materials (peanuts, anyone?!) have been a source of endless amusement for years now. Whether it’s the classic, individual bubbles that are like little pockets of pop-able heaven under your feet, or the bigger pillows of plastic that offer a satisfying boom when you squeeze them hard enough…Bubble Wrap is a sure winner.

But what happens when you give a dog Bubble Wrap and place a baby nearby? This cuteness:

Yep, that seems like the exact appropriate level of enthusiasm for packing materials. These two have hit the nail on the head!

When His Friend Starts Squealing, This Pup Has The Best Reaction!

When one lone wolf howls out into the night, it’s not long before the air is shaking with answers from all corners of the great wild. It could be spine-chilling, especially if you’re in one of those middle-of-nowhere cabins and your buddies decided to pop in a scary movie before bed.

But this? This is far from scary…

This is adorable!

I’m sure it won’t be long before they start getting responses from outside the house! Hopefully their baby and dog howls aren’t translating into anything offensive in wolf.

This Baby Can't Hide His Excitement For Food, And We Know Just How He Feels

If you ask this adorable baby, dinnertime is the best part of the day. Not only does he get to play funny food games with Dad, but he also gets to chow down on some of his favorite treats.

To show Mom and Dad a little appreciation during dinner one night, he did something too cute for words!

We feel you, little guy. We love stuffing our faces, too! I just don’t think we look quite as cute doing it.

This Baby Shows His Big Great Dane Dog Exactly Who's The Boss - Too Cute!

Sibling rivalry doesn’t always stick to one species. This human baby proves that in the most hilarious way when he decides to show his big great dane dog brother just who the real boss is in this house…

The poor pup knows he just can’t win against this tough guy. Maybe they’ll reach a peace agreement by the time the kiddo is driving…or when he has his own little sibling they can both gang up on.

Together, This Girl, Her Mom, And Their Dog Are Making The Cutest Photo Series

Jesse Holland is a professional photographer in Canada. She spends her days shooting weddings and portrait sessions. Recently, she took on a 100-days project on the side…and it’s since turned into an open-ended one that’ll have you hooked.

Her daughter, Ella, and the family Frenchie, Charlie, have been competing in a game of “who wore it better,” and it’s incredibly adorable. So what do you get when you pair almost-unbearable cuteness with perfect lighting and framing? This awesome project…

Dog in bird hat, or baby in bird hat?

Who woke up like this better?

I’m pretty sure both are more interested in the pictures.

Naked dinnertime!

Everyone loves ice cream. EVERYONE.

“Ohhh Canadaaaaa!”

Are you guys from Brooklyn, or Seattle?

Look how shy Ella was the first time she put on this bird hat!

Over the course of the project, they’ve both grown accustomed to loving the camera….

And the camera returns the sentiment!

“You dig the hole, and I’ll fill the moat.”

I guess this one would be more of a “who did dad wear better?”

Of course, there’s a “who did mom wear better,” too.

Sorry, Charlie, school is only for people babies.

Nap time!

Classy in black and white.

Ready to face the world!

Good thing they remembered to protect themselves from the sun.

Everyone loves a good playground sesh.

Just a girl and her pooch enjoying the wonderful wilderness.

I’m pretty sure Charlie would LOVE to go grocery shopping.

To get more of this adorableness, be sure to follow Holland on Instagram, as well as the project’s Tumblr. Also check out her personal website for the rest of her amazing work!
