Together, This Girl, Her Mom, And Their Dog Are Making The Cutest Photo Series

Jesse Holland is a professional photographer in Canada. She spends her days shooting weddings and portrait sessions. Recently, she took on a 100-days project on the side…and it’s since turned into an open-ended one that’ll have you hooked.

Her daughter, Ella, and the family Frenchie, Charlie, have been competing in a game of “who wore it better,” and it’s incredibly adorable. So what do you get when you pair almost-unbearable cuteness with perfect lighting and framing? This awesome project…

Dog in bird hat, or baby in bird hat?

Who woke up like this better?

I’m pretty sure both are more interested in the pictures.

Naked dinnertime!

Everyone loves ice cream. EVERYONE.

“Ohhh Canadaaaaa!”

Are you guys from Brooklyn, or Seattle?

Look how shy Ella was the first time she put on this bird hat!

Over the course of the project, they’ve both grown accustomed to loving the camera….

And the camera returns the sentiment!

“You dig the hole, and I’ll fill the moat.”

I guess this one would be more of a “who did dad wear better?”

Of course, there’s a “who did mom wear better,” too.

Sorry, Charlie, school is only for people babies.

Nap time!

Classy in black and white.

Ready to face the world!

Good thing they remembered to protect themselves from the sun.

Everyone loves a good playground sesh.

Just a girl and her pooch enjoying the wonderful wilderness.

I’m pretty sure Charlie would LOVE to go grocery shopping.

To get more of this adorableness, be sure to follow Holland on Instagram, as well as the project’s Tumblr. Also check out her personal website for the rest of her amazing work!

This Boy Has The Most Awesome Best Friend Group You'll Ever See

Growing up as an only child can be lonely sometimes. While Julian, or Little J, as his mother likes to call him, definitely keeps himself busy with his extracurricular activities — he’s a ballet dancer and violinist — our guess is he wouldn’t call himself an only child at all. That’s because of a few very special friends he hangs out with on a daily basis…

Here’s Julian with his mastiff buds, Bruce (left) and Max (right).

His photographer mom, Stasha Becker, captures the heartwarming relationship between the dogs and her son.

They’ve also got some equestrian friends, who round out the crew.

The fur family lives in the Pacific Northwest, which means there’s no shortage of beautiful scenery to explore.

It must be really cool to have two giant pooches as your best friends.

There’s always something to be excited about!

Becker is great at catching the little moments.

She manages to show that they’re truly a band of merry brothers.

Sometimes they just chill.

Did we mention the mini horses?

On second thought, are we sure they’re not just mastiffs, too?

Julian sandwich!

This is one lucky kid.

These are the best kind of siblings you could ask for!

Snacks, skateboarding, and a big bro is all you really need in life.

“Right, Bruce?”

There’s no bond like that between a boy and his (albeit slobbery) dog.

These guys have got it made.

Make sure you follow Becker on Instagram for more adventures with her whole happy family. You can also head over to her website for more in-depth updates!

Need more adorable dogs and horses? No problem.

His Wife Left Him With Nothing But Their Dog...Now They're Famous

Rafael Mantesso, from São Paulo, Brazil, had a really rough 30th birthday. Instead of having a super-fun party celebrating the end of the most confusing decade of one’s life, his wife left him. She took everything from the apartment: the furniture, the cookware, the art that hung on the walls…but she did leave one thing behind…

That “thing” would be Jimmy, Mantesso’s bull terrier.

The two of them have come a long way since that birthday…

And it’s all because this dog dad decided to do some doodling during a pup nap one day.

With all the walls left white…

The whole apartment was literally one huge photo studio.

…And these two took full advantage of it!

He started documenting these adorable photos on his Instagram account

And in the blink of an eye, he had over 280,000 followers.

People around the world fell in love with these simple but captivating line drawings.

Not to mention the adorable pup who starred in them!

Eventually, Mantesso had taken enough awesome pics to put a book together!

Have I mentioned that Jimmy has become a fashion icon, too?

Because his namesake, Jimmy Choo, caught on to his good looks and unique style…

And created a whole line of handbags and doggie collars featuring Mantesso’s artwork.

But in the midst of all this celebrity, the two are still the best of friends.

Jimmy loves to be the life of the party…

Often interrupting Mantesso’s phone calls by bringing him toys or crying for attention.

On the other hand, if he’s in the mood for a nap, and dad is trying to watch TV…

The pup will beg for some peace and quiet!

Mantesso’s favorite pieces are when he’s seen his pup as a superhero or a rockstar…

Something as awesome as Jimmy really is on the inside.

But all the shoots these two have together aren’t really work at all…

Even if it’s for a famous designer…

Because Jimmy loves to play with his pop, and these photo sessions give him that opportunity!

These two really know how to make the most out of the hand they’re dealt!

It’s amazing to see something so fruitful come out of one really, really terrible day. It just goes to show what a good attitude and drive can bring you, as long as you’re optimistic about life. Remember to follow Mantesso and Jimmy on Instagram, and to check out their amazing photo book! You can also see what they’re up to on their website, which has links to adopt a rescued bull terrier…just in case you were wondering.
