The world seems to shrink more and more as the reaches of technology span across the globe. It turns out, the world has felt very small for a very long time. There's a race of people in Southern Africa that share some interestingly similar characteristics to people from the Asian countries.
The Khoisan tribe of Southern Africa are hypothesized to be one of the oldest relatives to the early human population. They are a look at our past, and varying ethnicity can be seen throughout their features. They sport light brown skin, almost bronze, and eye folds (known as epicanthal folds) that resemble Asian peoples.
Over the evolution and migration of humans, traits changed due to geographical locations and a need for evolution. Some traits became exaggerated while other fell off completely. Still, it's interesting to look into the "cradle of life" in Africa and look into a sort of time machine of how the vast majority of humans probably looked originally.
