Groucho Marx literally danced on top of Hitler’s bunker where he killed himself!

Groucho Marx was an American comedian and actor born in 1890. He’s widely considered the best comedian of his time and known for his quick wit. He made 13 films with his siblings through their production company the Marx Brothers. He parted from his two brothers and had a very successful career apart from them, as well. His jokes were very innuendo-laden, often impromptu, and very fast-paced.

He had a very vaudeville appearance to him with a thick mustache, glasses, cigar, thick eyebrows, and stooped posture. He stayed active as an entertainer until 1976, only a year before his death. Groucho Marx is actually the one who introduced, used, and made famous the mask of disguise that has thick eyebrows, a big plastic nose, and a bushy mustache attached to thick black glasses.

During a tour of Germany in 1958, accompanied by then-wife Eden, daughter Melinda, Robert Dwan and Dwan's daughter Judith, he climbed a pile of rubble that marked the site of Adolf Hitler's bunker, the site of Hitler's death, and performed a two-minute Charleston. He later remarked to Richard J. Anobile in The Marx Brothers Scrapbook, "Not much satisfaction after he killed six million Jews!"
