Granted it was in her younger and more feisty days, if she ever had any. It was 1954 and the royal couple was taking a tour of Australia shortly after her coronation.
A film crew was waiting impatiently for the Queen and her husband, Prince Philip, to come out of their room to film a scene with kangaroos.
When the door flew open, the cameraman instinctively turned on his camera and caught the prince storming out of the room, a pair of shoes flying after him, and then a racquet!
The queen then ordered him back in the room. They appeared several moments later in their usual regal composure, followed by a swarm of press controllers demanding the tape be destroyed.
Unlike today, where the bigger the fight the bigger the reward, back then there remained a sense of respect and so the crew obliged!
