Australia has invented 'shark-proof' wetsuits!

Sharks are actually not out to get surfers. One of the main reasons why they do attack them is because they look like tasty seals. It bears to logic then, that if you don't want to get eaten by a shark, you should probably not swim with a seal costume.

That's exactly what Australian researchers have done. After a spike in shark attacks, they've decided to tackle the problem by developing the wet suit you see on the right.

The researchers think that the suit will make people look like a poisonous fish, thus getting the shark to kindly stay out of the surfer's way. They've also developed another that is blue and makes humans basically invisible to sharks.
