She Used To Be Anorexic, But She Completely Turned Her Life Around

Anorexia is a debilitating condition that ruins countless lives. Devastating as it may be, however, one thing that is certainly true about the disease is that it can be defeated with the right treatment and care.

If you need an example, 22-year-old Megan Jayne used to be anorexic. At 14 years old, she weighed only 70 pounds. When she hit rock bottom, she had to be hospitalized and fed through a feeding tube because of how thin and frail she was. She eventually overcame the disease, and she’s now promoting body positivity on Instagram. She hopes that her story will inspire others to begin walking down the road to recovery.

Body image issues affect millions of people, young and old. The influence of these issues often rears its ugly head in the form of bulimia, body dysmorphic disorder, and anorexia.
