Facebook is a very odd social media platform, especially with all of the terms and conditions that you need to agree to in order to make an account. With all of those safety precautions, you’d think that the network would be incredibly secure.
But unfortunately, glitches do happen. That’s exactly what Schuler Benson experienced when he tried to log onto his Facebook account from a mobile device six years ago. Instead of taking him to his page, it logged him onto an account that belonged to a woman named Celeste Zendler. What happened after that is almost too bizarre for words.
It started out with Benson wondering how he could have logged into Celeste’s account.
That’s when things took a strange turn.
Facebook changed Celeste’s last name to Benson, which is when the confused man started communicating with the woman’s friends — and Celeste herself — to try to figure out how to solve this problem.
These two bonded over the glitch and kept in contact with each other.
Despite living in different states, not knowing each other, and having no friends in common, they began dating.
They even tied the knot.
You can thank Facebook for setting you up with the love of your life, Benson!

This is a wedding story for the ages. I guess Facebook just felt like playing Cupid one day. Luckily for these two, that little game worked out.
