Halloween decorations are supposed to be scary, and they are supposed to strike fear into the hearts of passersby. But decorating for the year’s spookiest season is also supposed to be fun at its core. What people thought to be a Halloween decoration in this neighborhood, however, was actually something completely horrifying.
Rebecca Cade’s body was found on someone’s lawn, and before a few construction workers took a closer look, people in the community just assumed that her corpse was a Halloween prop. The story is that Cade was running from her attacker when her sleeve got caught on a fence. The assailant then bludgeoned her head with a rock until she died.
All we can do is hope that this killer is promptly put behind bars. This gruesome murder is a reminder to be vigilant during the holidays, because people will take advantage of the situation. This is absolutely shameful.
