They Took A Beat-Up Pull-Behind Trailer And Made It Look Brand-Spanking-New

Camping in a tent is nice and all, but wouldn’t you rather have the comfort of more stable walls and maybe an appliance or two? Of course you would! That’s the beauty of travel trailers, but those don’t come as cheap as your pop-up tent.

This couple found a less expensive way around that by picking up this 1968 fiberglass Boler trailer and fixing it up themselves. The result will make you wish you could take it on a road trip, too!

There were no leaks, “great guts,” all working appliances, and even new tires

But it definitely needed some sprucing up.

The cushions were in good shape, so they decided to keep those.

They’re definitely in great condition considering how old the trailer is.

So they started by taking those out to work on scrubbing and painting the interior.

They also removed the cabinet doors…

And the couch/bunk bed to get at the old insulation.

Now, time for paint!

They decided to keep the original fridge and stove, which both use propane and electricity.

Next came the flooring, which they got on sale for just $15.

They brought everything back in, including the cushions, the table, and new, handmade curtains.

For the kitchen area, they used old redwood for the sink and stove countertop.

The stove was spray-painted black…

And the new countertop was stained.

Add some LED lights and you’ve got a brand-new interior!

Moving to the exterior, the trailer needed a new paint job…

They decided to use red to match their car. The result is pretty snazzy!

This might even be nicer than my apartment, but I’m going to choose to stay in denial about that.
