You might remember Caitlyn, a pup so heartlessly abused that she was left with permanent damage to her face. While she’s still on the road to recovery, her life is certainly looking up these days. The outpouring of support for the sweet chocolate staffie mix is only helping her keep a smile on her face while her wounds heal. Next year, though, she’s going to have some very handsome costars…
But the spotlight’s on her as a face of change…a reminder that terrible things like this happen all the time.
Proceeds from the calendars go to Toby’s Fund, which was started by the Charleston Animal Society. In 2015, the calendar raised over $250,000, which can reallygo a long way to help save animals like Caitlyn. Hopefully, the 2016 calendar will be even more successful, thanks to Caitlyn’s resilient, smiling face! If you’d rather pass on the calendar, remember that you can always donate, too.
