When you think of DIY projects, pallets, plywood, and cement might be the first things you think of. It may seem like DIY projects take skills honed over many years through a ton of practice, but even experts have made projects anyone can do. Take for example Indy Magnoli, a New Zealand-based crafter with a passion for recreating classic movie props.
With an eyeball from a broken doll, a piece of wire, and some liquid latex, he made a Hollywood-worthy, super-creepy DIY project. It’s especially great for those who don’t feel so inclined to buy a table saw, or pull out the craft supplies. Check out his creation below, but fair warning — it might freak you out.
He took an eyeball from a broken ceramic doll and a piece of wire…
And hot glued them together.
He covered the wire and bottom of the eyeball in liquid latex and let it dry. Seems odd…
Until he put his creation into a jar of water with yellow food coloring. Creepy!

I want to make something like this when Halloween rolls around and display it in my kitchen! Then again, I might just do this to freak out my roommate…
