At just eight-weeks-old, Gary the kitten seems to be carrying the weight of the world on his fluffy, adorable shoulders. Or at least, that’s what you might think when you see his sweet face for the first time.
Born with two black dots on his forehead, they soon grew into an eyebrow-like pattern that makes the little guy seem constantly concerned. Living in Manchester, England, his owners named him after Take That member Gary Barlow, based on how similar the kitten looks to the singer when he hits his high notes.
The family didn’t intend to keep more than one kitten from mom Luna’s litter, but have of course since decided to hang on to Gary as well as his sister, Amy, who has mobility issues. We totally understand the change of heart.
“My bodyguard, Rex, comes with me wherever I go.”
“Oh, wait. I’m afraid of heights.”
“We aren’t going to the vet, are we?”
“The rug attacked me…I swear.”
“Barbie isn’t allergic to cats, is she?”
“Who is ‘the Internet’ and why are they talking about me?”
“Did we leave the oven on?”
“These are safer. No tripping on shoelaces.”
“You unplugged your curling iron, right?”

His owners reckon he might just give Grumpy Cat a run for his money. You can keep up with all of Gary’s adorable anxiousness on his Facebook page…just don’t startle him in any way.
