Bubbles always remind me of summer. It’s probably because I remember running through the yard, wand in hand, trailing a huge, glistening bubble behind me. Ahh to be a kid again!
Whether you want to relive the good ol’ days, recreate those memories for your own kids (or grandkids), or just want to brush up on your bubble-making skills, the recipes below have something for you. And if you thought the only way to make bubbles was with soap and water, boy, are you in for a treat!
1. Basic Bubbles

Let’s start off easy…mix one cup of water and one tablespoon of dish soap.
2. Deluxe Bubbles

Getting a little more wild with this one: dissolve a half cup of sugar in four cups of warm water. Once the sugar is fully mixed in, stir in a half a cup of dishwashing soap.
3. Crazy Deluxe Bubbles
The name says it all! Mix a cup of warm water, one tablespoon of glycerin, a teaspoon of white sugar, and two tablespoons of liquid dish soap.
4. Jell-O Bubbles
These bubbles will smell SO good! Mix equal parts of Jell-O powder and dishwashing liquid with between eight and ten parts water!
5. Tear-Free Bubbles

These are perfect for even the tiniest of tykes. Mix three quarters of a cup of water, three tablespoons of corn syrup, and a quarter cup of tear-free shampoo together.
6. Colorful Bubbles

Add some color to your bubbles by mixing one and a quarter cups of water, a third cup of dishwashing liquid, one drop of food coloring, and two teaspoons of sugar.
7. Non-Toxic Bubbles
To make natural, non-toxic bubbles, simply mix a quarter cup of natural biodegradable dish detergent, a teaspoon of glycerine, and one cup of water together.
