White Coke Specially Exists For Embarrassed Politicians - But Not The Coke You Think!

Marshal of the Soviet Union, Georgy Zhukov, was so embarrassed in the 1940’s to be seen in public drinking Coca Cola, that he commissioned them to make a white, vodka looking coke for him because he liked the taste.

It wasn’t as simple as removing the color.

In order for this to happen, Genderal Mark Clark passed this onto president Harry S. Truman.

He passéd this request onto the chairman of Coca Cola, James Farley, who then passed the request onto the technical supervisor Miladin Zarubica.

Miladin then had to go to Austria in 1946 and obtain access to a large bottling plant and find a chemist that could do this.

When the color was removed, it was in a clear bottle with a white cap and looked like bottled water or vodka.

Fifty cases were then sent to Georgy Zhukov.

Normally, these types of shipments would be stopped at customs but they were able to pass way before the two week period in Austria.
