There are a select few in the world that actually lived the life of kings and queens, born and raised in a castle on the moors.
There's an even smaller group of people who enjoyed that upbringing, and then ended up portraying one on a popular television show.
That group may consist of only one person: Rose Elanor Arbuthnot-Leslie.
The name may not immediately ring a bell, but you'd recognize her as Ygritte in HBO's popular "Game of Thrones" series. Leslie was born in London and raised at the Lickleyhead Castle which was her family's 15th-century ancestral seat. Her father is the Aberdeenshire Chieftain of Clan Leslie, and her mother is the great-granddaughter of the 13th Lord Lovat, who is a descendant of Charles II.
Now she enjoys acting in very popular series, some of which portray the past her family participated in. Some of her roles include Gwen Dawsome in "Downton Abbey" and the more recognizable Ygritte in "Game of Thrones."
