Beats Audio drivers make music sound worse so the "enhancements" sound better by comparison--very sneaky!

You may want to think twice before using Beats Audio, because some tech-savvy people have discovered that it simply uses tricks to create the illusion of increased performance.

When Beats Audio is turned off, the quality of the sound is fine, and all the tone controls are flat. When it is on, the music does sound good, but there's more to it.

Playing around has yielded some interesting observations about Beats Audio. When it is turned back off, the tone controls do not revert to their flat levels. The bass is turned way down, and the treble is turned all the way up. The tone controls are set at extreme ends of the scale rather than where they were originally.

A fair number of people have been fooled into thinking that Beats Audio really does improve the quality of sound. But look a little deeper and you'll realize that it's really just trickery. Since the sound is worse by comparison after disabling Beats Audio, people may easily be duped into thinking that the software really did help, but obviously that's not true.

It's amazing how a little research can uncover the truth. Check out the source so you can hear the difference yourself.
