You can get a better workout in warmer weather: True or False?

This one’s not true. Actually, colder weather is better because it reduces heat stress on the body. This means there’s less of a chance that you’ll overheat or get dehydrated.

There’s not much risk in exercising in slightly warm weather, but when you start to get into the 80’s (Fahrenheit) and above the risk of overheating starts to become an issue, but as long as you can stay hydrated and don’t go too hard, you’ll be fine.

While hot weather is not great for exercise, that doesn’t mean you need to go into freezing temperatures. The 50-70’s range is actually a pretty good temperature to exercise. It reduces the time it takes for your muscles to warm up while not being too hot.

The reason we see more people exercising in the warmer months is pretty simple. People just tend to be more active and actually want to go out when the weather is nice. Cold weather is a deterrent from exercise only because it is uncomfortable.
