For those of you that haven't seen the critically acclaimed movie, Argo, you should. It was nominated for an extensive list of movie awards, including Best Director and Best Picture, the latter of which it won.
The film tells the true story of the CIA mission titled 'Argo' where the CIA made up a phony movie company, called Studio Six, in order to rescue American hostages during the Iranian Revolution.
The CIA came up with the idea to pretend to make a movie, so as they could come into contact with the hostages in Iran!
As it turns out, the CIA did such a wonderful job of convincing people that "Studio Six" was real, that after the rescue mission was completed at the phony studio had closed down - the studio received 26 scripts from hopeful screenwriter's, and even a young, hopeful, Steven Spielberg wanted to have his films produced by Studio Six!
