Christopher Walken worked as a lion tamer as a child!

When one thinks of bizarre actors, there are few who wouldn’t put Christopher Walken near the top of the list.

With a vast array of movie, TV, and stage roles under his belt, being a lion tamer almost sounds normal for the legendary star.

Born Ronald Walken, Christopher aspired to be an actor from day one, but getting there was the problem. After appearing with his brothers on television in the 1950’s, Walken began to pick up odd jobs to support himself.

The strangest was by far a lion tamer in the circus. During his teenage years he would spend time with the lions and the outlandish assortment of people in the circus. He quickly abandoned this job as he got older and auditioned for musicals, which eventually launched his career!
