A whale waited 45 minutes for his friend to be set free!

A tour group near the coast of Nova Scotia found a humpback in distress. She had gotten tangled up in a fishing line and couldn't lift her tail.
A group of volunteers sprang to action to help release the whale, known as Foggy. The best part is that Foggy had a friend with her known as Grommet.
The rescuers were worried because whales can sometimes interfere thinking that humans will do more harm than good, but Grommet patiently waited for 45 minutes until Foggy was freed.
As soon as Foggy was set loose, Grommet jumped out of the water. The rescuers say that it was a happy response to seeing her buddy free.
