Monty Python, one of the greatest comedy troupes of all time, has been responsible for bringing joy to the lives of millions of people around the world.

They had their own television show that featured many original comedy sketches, and they also had a large success with films they sent to the big screen. Some of these films are "The Meaning of Life", "The Holy Grail", and of course, "Life of Brian".

"Life of Brian" is a film where the life of Brian is essentially a parody of Jesus Christ's. The film ends with Brian being nailed to a cross, among a variety of criminals - and they break out into the song "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" as the film ends. It's incredibly catchy.

The HMS Sheffield of the Royal Navy sang that exact song as their boat was sinking during the Falklands War. As the crew waited to be rescued, Sub Lieutenant Carrington-Wood decided to start singing the song in order to raise morale!
