A Viking ship made out of 15 million popsicles sticks sailed from the Netherlands to England!

This 15 meter Viking ship is no ordinary replica; the Thor is a reproduction made of 15 million recycled Popsicle and ice cream sticks and is "The world's largest recycled object" according to Robert McDonald.

McDonald, along with his son and the help of 5,000 Dutch children, took about four years to put the ship together.

Now that the project is complete, he's actually going to sale it from the Netherlands to London! After that, he hopes to continue the real path of the Vikings and sail to North America, with stops at Iceland and Greenland on the way.

The ship was made purely with recycled material, which comes to show that you don’t need all kind of expensive material in order to build what you want. If you dream it, you can do it.
