There is a world-renowned artist who very few people have ever seen!

If you’ve spent a few hours on the more socially conscious side of the internet, you’ve probably run into Banksy’s art work. He creates large, amazing graffiti artwork criticizing commercialism, war, etc. And all those other things people love to hate. Over the years, he’s grown into a critically acclaimed artist; he’s given interview and held sold-out art shows. But, even most of his devout fans do not know what Bansky looks like or anything about his identity.

This is because Bansky’s beloved pieces are illegal; he doesn’t seek permission from the city or the building owner before planting his graffiti on their private property. Most of his pieces are destroyed as soon as they are discovered but some business owners leave them up to attract the public. Some may argue that his anonymity and his rebellion are a crucial part of his art.
