The guy who plays Mr.Bean has a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering!

Most people know Rowan Atkinson for his role as Mr.Bean. But, before he was Mr.Bean, Atkinson was just your average Master of Electrical Engineering. He attended Newcastle University and Oxford University where he earned several degrees in the field. During that time he also met screenwriter Richard Curtis with whom he wrote and performed comedy revues.

Later, he co-wrote and appeared in “Note the Nine O’Clock News” which was a huge hit and won and Emmy award and the British Academy Award for “Best Light Entertainment Programme of 1980. It wasn’t until 1990, that he became the Mr.Bean we all know and love.
