Representatives from business and industry and staff of the Fairfax County Public Schools worked together in curriculum and facilities development for the school. In recent years, local business leaders and Jefferson parents have formed the Jefferson Partnership Fund to help raise money to maintain and equip labs and classrooms in the school.
What’s funny about this school is that 2/3 of the student body is Asian, but only 5 % are Hispanic or black! This school has been under fire for not having a greater minority representation. Hopefully this won’t become a serious issue and the future and students will keep up the awesome job!
