Michael Jackson attempted to buy Marvel Comics in the early 2000s!

In the 90s Michael Jackson worked with Stan Lee Media on several project. By the 2000s, his dreams had expanded. He visited F. Paul’s office at Stan Lee Media to discuss buying Marvel. At the time, Marvel was worth about $188 million.

The reason for this is because Jackson wanted to play Spider-man and he felt that the only way he could do that is by purchasing the company responsible for producing Spider-man. Lee, as you probably already guessed, turned down the offer but gave Jackson his autograph. Quite frankly however, I think Spider-man could have benefited from some Michael Jackson song-and-dance numbers.
