Generally we envision Jesus helping out the needy and dying for sins with his humble flip-flops and long-hair. This is probably because the earliest Christian artwork depicts him as having blue eyes and long-blood hair. The blond hair and blue eyes is probably not true as Jesus was from the middle-east. However, turns out that we may be overestimating the length of his hair too.

Long hair was quite uncommon amongst Jewish people in Roman-occupied Jerusalem around the time that Jesus is said to have lived. Corinthians 11:14 even says: “Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?” So unless he was a total hipster, Jesus probably have had short-black hair.
