In 1903, the New York Times wrote it'd take mankind over 1 million years to build a flyable plane!

The Wright brothers were two American brothers, inventors, and aviation pioneers who were credited with inventing and building the world’s first successful airplane and making the first controlled, powered and sustained heavier-than-air human flight.

The brothers developed their flying machine into the first practical fixed-wing aircraft. Although not the first to build and fly experimental aircraft, the Wright brothers were the first to invent aircraft controls that made fixed-wing powered flight possible.

At the time, The United Stated Army was actually trying to develop an airplane in 1903, but the plane wouldn't fly. The New York Times wrote that maybe in 1 million to 10 million years they might be able to make a plane that would fly. This was only eight days after the Wright brothers were successful in flying the first manned plane!

If you can imagine it, you can create it. Dream big.
