If you're a caffeine drinker, you usually have caffeinated drink of choice. For some, it's coffee. For others, it's tea. Soft drinks, energy drinks, 5 hour energy. Considering soda and energy drink's bad reputation, you'd expect they have an overabundance of caffeine in addition to all their other chemicals.
Coffee, however, is by far the most caffeinated booster. A tall Starbucks coffee, which is the smallest size, has about 260 milligrams of caffeine in it. This is more than 7.6 times the amount of caffeine in one Coke and 5.8 times the amount in a Diet Coke. Similarly, a 12-ounce can of Red Bull has only 114 milligrams of caffeine. Starbucks coffee usually has more caffeine than other coffees, but coffee in general is ahead of the energy-boosting game.
