The whole plot is about Timmy Turner; a little kid with a pink hat that has three fairy godparents, Cosmo, Wanda, and their baby Poof, who grant his every wish which often leads him into trouble that he must fix right away.
In the series there are several episodes in which they make fun of Timmy (or at least mention) his pink hat. However, the only reason why Timmy Turner wears a pink hat is because creator and executive producer Butch Hartman’s blue marker ran out of ink while designing the character!
As a fan, I can’t imagine Timmy with a blue hat… the pink hat totally represents Timmy Turner and everything he stands for!
