Ashton Kutcher may be no Steve Jobs--but he is a tech icon. Find out what he's involved with!

Ashton Kutcher may have played tech genius and icon Steve Jobs (poorly) in his recent bio-picture, but it turns out he has some tech chops after all. He is an investor and active participant in helping shape the way our technology will become!

He's invested in plenty of tech startups, some of which have become staples in the tech community. These include Skype, Foursquare, Airbnb, Path, and Fab.com. Startups aren't always sure bets when pouring your hard-earned cash into them, but if just one manages to take off and take the tech world by storm, your bank account will be sitting pretty. It's safe to say that Kutcher made some good calls.

Kutcher signed on to be the Creative Director for Ooma, a Skype-like business, in 2007. He produced marketing campaigns and viral marketing to promote the service.

In 2013, the PC and tablet company Lenovo announced it hired Kutcher as a product engineer. It's unclear whether they needed Kutcher's creativity and ability to think ahead to produce the best and most innovative machines around, or it was a big publicity stunt.

You may not agree with how he portrayed a legend in innovation, but there's no denying he knows what he's talking about when it comes to tech.
