The Amazing Stuff

The Hatfields and McCoys. Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr. This black-and-white cat and this orange cat. Just three of the greatest, long-held feuds throughout history.

And the black-and-white cat doesn’t mind fighting dirty. When he locks eyes on his orange enemy, he leaps into attack mode until the fiendish feline finds himself swimming with the fishes. Okay, so there aren’t actually any fish in the pool, but I think the fuzz ball is pretty miffed to be submerged, regardless.

I hope he stays on his toes for what I’m sure will be an equally brutal retaliation. Why can’t we all just get along??

If you really want to see a cat’s eyes light up, just give them a good whiff of some fresh fish. Their little brain goes nuts for the seafood delight.

Unfortunately for this feline duo, they can’t quite get their paws on the fish they found under frozen water. Not for lack of (adorable) trying, of course. Alas, their silly attempts are no match for the water’s protective shield of ice.

“Follow me, dude, I see lunch!”

“Be careful, you don’t want to spook it.”

“Gotcha!”

“Wait, why don’t I gotcha?”

“Why isn’t this working???”

“Hey, this is harder than it looks!”

“Ugh, whatever, I wasn’t that hungry anyway.”

Sorry, fuzzballs. Maybe you’ll have better luck just raiding the grocery store tuna. But you totally get an A for effort.

At the end of a long day of fetch, chasing their tail, and taking several naps, all these sleepy dogs want is to curl up on their cozy beds. Unfortunately, someone has already beat them to the prime bedtime spot.

Their cat siblings just won’t budge from the comfortable beds despite theses pups’ sad and confused faces. The poor pooches are simply powerless against their mean feline bullies.

1. “Do you see this disrespect?”

2. “Ugh, whatever, take it.”

3. “MOOOOOM! He’s doing it AGAIN!”

4. “He yelled at me.”

5. Look at the tears in those sad, sad eyes…

And the cat who doesn’t care at all.

6. “This is ‘sharing’?”

7. “She’s the boss.”

8. Patiently waiting his turn…forever.

9. They didn’t realize it was a bunk bed when they bought it.

10. “Y’know, he really has earned it.”

11. “Don’t wake her. She gets angry when you wake her.”

12. “See! I told you!”

13. “But…that’s…that’s mine, though…”

14. “You’re right, this is so much better for my back.”

15. Possibly preparing for a stink-bomb strategy…

16. She tried offering him her favorite toy and even that didn’t work.

17. “Ahem, this bed is built for one, not two.”

“Yeah, so get out.” – the cat

18. “So you’re just going to let this happen?”

19. She’s using her tiny powers of cuteness against him.

20. “Seriously? This again?”

21. Well, to be fair, her coat does basically act as a built-in bed.

22. “This is all your fault. “

23. Compromise!

24. “Well, are you gonna stand there taking pictures or are you gonna do something about it?”

25. “I tried to tell him it’s mine but he won’t listen!”

26. “Get out! Get out! Get out!”

Hopefully mom or dad will come in to settle the bed debate once and for all. Or at least buy an extra one to make everyone happy.

Nature can create some pretty scary stuff. You really don’t want to pick a fight with Mother Earth when she’s in a bad mood. That’s something these silly animals learn every time a thunderstorm rolls around. They might not know what made the sky so mad, but they do know they don’t want to make it any worse.

Even the biggest of pets can turn into babies when the stormy weather starts. Thank goodness they have brave humans to help keep them safe from harm.

1. “Oh hey, uh, did you hear that?”

2. “You can’t run the dishes. It’s a matter of life and death.”

3. “You’re shower’s gonna have to wait until the Earth shower is over.”

4. “I can’t even look. Tell me when it’s all over, Hedgie.”

5. “Ack, if you found me maybe the thunder will too!”

6. “Yep, I’m totally shielded from any harm.”

7. “Well, guess I live here now.”

8. Maybe he thinks it’s a weather escape pod.

9. “Sorry, this is my hiding spot. Find your own.”

10. “Oh, don’t mind me…nasty weather we’re having, huh?”

11. Orange peels protect you from all harm. Everyone knows that!

12. Thunder buddies for life.

13. “You won’t let it get me, right?”

14. “I think we could use a few more cushions.”

15. “But why is the sky so angry?”

16. She won’t let go until the sun shines again.

17. “Nope. Nope. Nope.”

18. “Uh, just making sure this is organized.”

19. “I’m just doing this to protect you…that’s it….”

20. “I’m not scared! I’m practical!”

21. “Thank goodness for this sock or I’d definitely be a goner.”

22. “Is it safe to come out yet?”

Just imagine being in their paws and not knowing what all that loud noise was about. It’s okay, buddies, we’ll always have your back!
