When baby Louie was set to meet his trio of brothers one day, his parents had a problem: how do you introduce a tiny tyke like Lou to a group of wily pugs…and not have them swarm him with love?

It turns out that while the pugs can’t containment their excitement, neither can baby Louie. We’re sure these four will be fast friends!

When they slapped a pair of booties on this dog’s back two legs, they only wanted to get him used to the idea that winter is coming. His paws would be so much warmer with them wrapped in boots. But only seconds after putting them on, they realized the futility of their goal.

Watch what he does with his front two bootless paws…you’ll be laughing at his genius in no time!

The lesson here: when a dog hates something enough, they’ll do just about anything to avoid it. That being said, he does do a pretty great front handstand!

Ever seen a dog chase its tail? It’s funny…but this is even better. When this adorable German shepherd looks at the floor and sees his own shadow, he simply doesn’t know what to do. First he paws at it, whines…even has his owner try to “help” him. But the best part comes near the end…

Our advice, don’t tell this fluffy guy about that pesky tail that keeps following him around. We wouldn’t want him chasing two unreasonable things!

For these adorable pups, dinnertime isn’t as easy as wandering over to their bowls and binging.

No, instead their owner likes to make them work for their food by putting it in mazes. While it’s meant to make them slow down, it doesn’t exactly achieve that goal…

Instead, the cute chocolate labs go round and round in a head-spinning, adorable chow-down session — just watch!

Although the owner probably thought making them work for their food was a good idea, we suspect she never guessed it would lead to this!

While all the other dogs in this pool are swimming and having the time of their lives, there’s one dog who simply won’t. Because all he wants to do is to show his Mom a new trick, but he can’t seem to get her attention.

So instead of just playing anyways, he masters the art of begging for attention in a completely adorable way.

Looks like someone’s become a master of staring contests. Either that, or Mom’s really got to learn to pay more attention!

For this pooch, getting attention from his humans is no small feat. It seems like he just can’t get these people to show him some love! While nuzzling up to them might work any other day, he had to resort to more drastic measures this time.

Training a dog can be a long, hard process, but the rewards can be great. Your pooch becomes more obedient, and you feel a sense of accomplishment.

But for this owner trying to teach her dog to speak, it doesn’t look like either of those things will be happening anytime soon…

You may dread having to dry your hair after a shower, but this dog doesn’t. Every time her owner grabs the hair dryer, no matter where she is in the house, this shih-poo comes running.

Not because she’s scared of the sound…rather, it’s just the opposite!

Perhaps it feels like the wind on a car ride, or maybe she just likes the heat?

One of our dog’s many jobs is to protect his or her house from intruders and unwanted guests. Each pup makes their own judgement calls on the characters that enter their homes, and sometimes their apprehension is completely warranted. Other times, however, it’s a little harder to see why they’re so upset about something…

Like this pup and his treat, for instance.

Personally, I don’t see what’s so gosh darn threatening about it, but maybe I’m missing something. Either that, or this dog is just adorably weird. (I’m going to go with the latter.)

Typically, we think of our pets as having some pretty…diverse tastes. Rocks, grass, underwear — dirty or clean — all make the list. But then there are those dogs who just have to have their favorite treat. They don’t want shoes or shirts, toilet paper or trash. No, what they want is exactly the same thing this adorable corgi craves: socks!

The trouble is, he just can’t seem to get into the hamper to get one. And his struggle is just too hilarious to NOT catch on film.

So now that you’re laughing, here’s the question: would you still let him chew on your sock after watching him finally make it?

I have a feeling he instantly regretted his decision when he was on top…but then celebrated when he stuck the landing in a sock-filled paradise.

Teaching this adorable corgi some simple tricks started off well. She picked up the first one with no trouble at all. But when her owner tried to teach the next few, something odd happened. Something so adorably funny that we can’t help but want to give her a treat just for being so cute…

This little corgi pup just doesn’t understand why all these awesome tricks she’s doing aren’t yielding more treats…maybe if she just keeps spinning?

For this family, there’s no need to fret over who’s going to bring the groceries in from the car. They simply pull up to the house, and call for their “kids” to come downstairs and help.

Katie and Max — two huge great danes — are eager to shuttle things into the house…pending that those things are the dog treats. Watch as Katie ensures the safe passage of her puppy snacks:

I’m sure they’ll get to everything else after the treats are tucked away.

They might do it slowly, and they might only carry one thing at a time, but boy is their help appreciated. Now, could someone teach my eight-pound maltese to do the same…?

When this big dog wanted to bring his favorite stick outside, he never imagined it would be THIS difficult to get it through the door. When it was time to show it off to his buddy, there was just one little problem…and you’ll laugh your head off when you see him try to solve it.

Snapchat is slowly but surely becoming a regular mode of communication between friends. It’s kind of a harkening back to the times of actual phone conversations, when once you said something, it was lost to the abyss. It’s a momentary interaction that can’t be looked back on…

In this case, I’m gonna go ahead and say good riddance to nostalgia. These are just too good! Happy snapping, people and pets alike!

Dogs can be trained to do just about anything these days. From fetching the newspaper, grabbing a beer from the fridge for us, or flushing the toilet, they’re pretty great. It’s important, though, that you give the dog a word to anchor that task to (fetch, down, etc.), and once it hears that word, it knows exactly what to do.

There’s always an exception to the rule, though, and this dog is it. She appears to have only learned one word, and it’s absolutely hilarious seeing her react to it.

I feel like she only cared to learn “walk.”

She absolutely loves taking walks. Good for her…at least she enjoys exercise. I know some dogs who you have to drag outside in order to get them to go for a walk.

It was just a regular day full of errands for this one person, driving from the pharmacy to the grocery store and finally to get some lunch.

Yep, it was just a normal, boring, average Joe kinda day, full of average Joe kinda stuff…

But then this happened.

While this might seem very human…he’s much smarter than most people:

Definitely no crosswalk there.

For some people, watching sports is the focal point of their lives. Sunday rolls around, and it’s all about the game. THE game. Every game is THE game.

Well, for this pup, there is nothing on the planet he’d rather do less than waste his Sunday — or any day, for that matter — watching overly-bulked humans run straight into each other, all because of some weird ball that no one lets him fetch.

Frankly, I’m with him on this!

And it’s not just football…boxing isn’t much better.

Even basketball players get bored during their own games!

If you like sports…more power to you! You’re just part of a corner of society that neither me nor this adorable pooch understands.

A lot of dogs hate thunderstorms. The loud booms terrify them, causing the cuties to run to mom or dad for shelter. Heck, even some humans are afraid of thunder and lightning, either because they’re scared a tree that’s a little too close to their house will get struck down and land on their roof, or just because they’re spooky at night!

But this pup loves nighttime thunderstorms, because he knows what that means for tomorrow morning’s walk…

He really can’t get enough of those temporary rivers! Maybe it’s time to take this happy guy out of suburbia and into the great wild to frolic in some real streams.
