Babies have very different reactions to things than adults. They don’t quite understand the world as well as we do, so it’s utterly confusing for them sometimes. That’s why something as ordinary as a jack-in-the-box can really make them do a double take.

When this little baby hears a jack-in-the-box go off she’s not sure what’s happening…but the second time? Well, her reaction is downright silly.

What a roller coaster ride of emotions, eh? There’s some fear, joy, apprehension, suspense, and longing in there. She doesn’t know how to react at all! But it made for an absolutely adorable video.

Remember when you’d try to help your parents in the kitchen when the holidays rolled around? Cooking looked like even more fun when we were little! We just wanted in on it! Also, we could score sneaky bites of the food while our parents were working, which was a plus. Thanksgiving was always the best.

These kids, however, should probably stick to playing outside or watching TV. Their cooking skills aren’t really there yet.

Oof…the power mixer in the hair…that’s rough. Never pretty. I’m sure these kids are good at plenty of other things, but culinary skills definitely passed them by.

Cleaning up leaves is a huge pain in the butt. It’s not all fun and games like Snoopy would have you believe. A lot of people dread going out into their yards every year and raking dead leaves.

These guys came up with a much faster way to get rid of those pesky leaves, but I absolutely would not recommend that you do this. It seems insanely dangerous, and beyond that, insanely stupid.

What happened in their brains that make them think, “You know what? This is a great idea.” They’re lucky that they didn’t set the whole neighborhood ablaze. With that being said, it looked totally awesome, and it did get rid of a bunch of leaves. But seriously, just don’t do this, okay?

We all have that one friend who groans at the thought of doing anything that could be considered a cultural experience. In fact, you might even be that friend. For these people, waiting in long lines at art museums to watch people stare (for way, way too long) at splattered canvases and paintings of naked cherubs seems like the polar opposite of a good time.

But anything can turn into an awesome experience if you have a sense of humor about it. Just ask this guy. BoredPanda user Mr. Angry decided to visit the Louvre one day (albeit begrudgingly) so he could pop some fun captions on a few of the paintings. Art snobs might be offended by the stunt, but I feel like that’s probably the point. And it’s awesome.

If having fun in the world’s most famous art museum is wrong, then I don’t want to be right. (But if you don’t feel like getting scowled at, maybe don’t read French painting captions with a southern accent. I might have learned that the hard way? Just kidding. I definitely did.)

When baby Louie was set to meet his trio of brothers one day, his parents had a problem: how do you introduce a tiny tyke like Lou to a group of wily pugs…and not have them swarm him with love?

The hit movie of the summer was the blockbuster sequel, Jurassic World. Since its release, kids and adults everywhere are, once again, obsessed wtih dinosaurs. Everything dino-related has found a resurgence in popularity. People have rekindled their love with the ancient animals and they have no qualms about showing it.

This dad, however, is taking it a bit further. The Imgur user bought an inflatable T-rex costume and is taking his daughter everywhere with it on. And when we say everywhere, we mean everywhere.

It’s always hilarious when you’re able to time a prank so perfectly that the prankee spills the cereal they were holding all down the front of their shirt. The bigger the mess, the better. The best pranksters out there, though, might be our furry, bug-eyed, or even scaly counterparts. They’re unpredictable, and you never know what kind of mood they’re going to be in.

Now that Halloween is over, it’s fun to recap everyone’s amazing costumes. Since the spooky holiday has come and gone, there’s no more competition involved. We just get to sit back and enjoy looking at the completely epic ideas that people came up with.

This father-son costume might just be the best of the bunch. Instead of dressing as celebrities or zombies, they decided to dress as each other. The resemblance is uncanny. You need to see this to believe it.

Researchers believe that smelling farts can be good for your health because farts contain hydrogen sulfide, which can help prevent mitochondrial damage.

While large doses of hydrogen sulfide gas are bad for you, scientists believe that sniffing it every now and again can help prevent cancer, strokes, heart attacks, arthritis, and even dementia.

So the next time you get a whiff of a fart, don’t turn your nose up in disgust! Celebrate it. You could be preserving your long-term health.

If you’re in public and you let one rip, just tell everyone around you that you’ve done them a favor. Still…the short-term stench is pretty bad either way, so maybe just blame the fart on someone else.

Dads are notorious for being bumbling, adorable creatures. I mean, just ask any sitcom writer under the sun. Dads just can’t catch a break, but hey, at least they’re trying.

These dads just want to hang with their kids on the playground. At first, they’re just doing their parental duties by keeping their kids entertained and safe…but after a while, things start getting ugly.

These dads will forever be known as bozos, but guess what! I’m sure they’d rather look like bozos than miss out on playing with their kids. That’s why you just have to love dads.

Halloween is an exciting time for little kids. I mean, it’s the one day each year when taking candy from strangers is a good idea. It also allows these precious kiddos to dress up as their favorite monsters, superheroes, and cartoon characters. What’s not to love?

But it’s not all fun and games for little trick-or-treaters. Sometimes, they encounter quite a few bumps in the road on their quest to get candy from every house in the neighborhood.

As bad as it is to watch kids suffer, you have to admit that they’re pretty funny when they’re scared. These situations — no matter how scary — are never enough to deter them from filling up their buckets with sweet treats, though. You have to admire them for that.

Starting in 2013, the people of Sydney, Australia, began to notice something a bit odd around their city. There were some strange (and often very funny) signs popping up in public spaces. They probably made a lot of people smile, but most people didn’t have a clue who was behind them.

That person is Michael Pederson, and he uses his background in art, film, and music to inspire his funny, conversational signs. Take a look at some of his work and try not to smile.

When he’s not working for an advertising agency, photographer Rich McCor is turning the world into a more entertaining place with the help of a few paper cutouts. Placed in front of landmarks, they turn everyday street scenes into charming, witty photos.

McCor got the idea after joining Instagram.

He was tired of taking ordinary photos, so he decided to start a clever Instagram series.

He started adding amusing cutouts to famous scenes and totally transforming them.

Here, the Eiffel Tower is ready for takeoff!

Initially, McCor challenged himself to do ten cutout photos around London, creating different compositions for each one. Coming up with clever ideas was a bit difficult, but the images quickly gained popularity on Instagram.

He also says that the process was extremely fun and rewarding, since he created awesome photos while also learning more about major landmarks and interacting with passersby.

This photo, for example, earned him the praise of a 10-year-old girl.

Of course, all of this planning and shooting makes McCor’s vacations a little different from the average traveler’s. “I am probably the worst sort of person to go on holiday with,” he jokes. “I’m constantly taking photos and tracking down ideas.” Still, he enjoys learning about every city he visits. This collection allows him to see popular landmarks from a whole new perspective.
