Seeing A Movie Is Great Family Fun, But Things Are So Much Different Than Before

Gone are the days when you could take your family to the movies — complete with popcorn and soda — without it costing as much as your mortgage payment. It’s insane how much we have to spend to enjoy blockbusters.

So it shouldn’t surprise you that movies are no longer played from massive reels of film. Instead, our favorite films arrive in indestructible boxes.

Pelican cases are extremely durable. Basically, these boxes transport the hard drives that hold movie footage.

When loaded up, the movie takes about an hour to work its way from the drive to the server. But when it comes to seeing blockbusters on the silver screen, I don’t think any of us mind the wait (even if it did cost next month’s rent to see it)!

What They Caught This Cop Doing Is Just Too Awesome

Police officers are hard-working people. There’s no doubt about that. Their schedules are insanely busy and completely unpredictable, but they’re always ready to hit the road at a moment’s notice.

That’s why it’s not exactly surprising to see footage of officers trying to blow off some steam. I mean, can you blame them? While some might prefer to go fishing or spend a bit of quality time at home, this guy tends to do something a little different.

Looking at this officer, you wouldn’t really expect him to be a double-dutch champion. Luckily for him, he came across a few ladies who love jumping rope as much as he does.

This Young Inventor Found A Way To Supercharge His Rollerblades

Some kids are born to be inventors. They spend their free time tinkering with everything in sight, wondering how things could be better. These little ones are great innovators in the making!

Take this boy, for example. Instead of seeing a leaf blower and some rollerblades, he saw an opportunity to create something awesome.

I never would’ve thought of that! Kids like this are wise beyond their years. That cord may not let him get very far, but his flair for innovation certainly will.

When They Took Off His Leash, This Dog Could NOT Contain His Excitement

There aren’t many times in a dog’s life when they get to be free of the leash outside, and this smart dog knows that. Just wait and see his adorable reaction to being let off his leash in a huge park. If that’s not the definition of happiness, then I don’t know what is!

This dog’s happiness is nothing short of contagious. Let’s all go outside and play!

What This Kid Can Do At An Arcade Is Seriously Insane

Whenever I head to the arcade, my favorite game to play is the basketball toss. Shooting hoops lets me feel like a sports superstar for a few minutes, and sometimes, I even get a prize out of the deal.

I’ve always considered myself a champion, since my high score is usually pretty impressive. But after watching this kid in action, I know that there’s a new champ in town.

Okay, how did he do that? I must learn his secret. If you need me, I’ll be practicing…or hanging my head in shame. Either one.

She Put On Roller Blades, But What She Did With Them Left The Crowd Speechless

At this point, roller skating is a pretty old-school activity. It was huge back in the ’70s, but since then, roller rinks have lost their thunder as far as weekend hangouts are concerned.

Fortunately, it seems like a few parents who loved skating back in the day have passed that love down to their children. Take this talented skater, for example. Even though the sport’s heyday has come and gone, this girl is proof that it can still be pretty awesome when done right.

Did you see when she skated on one wheel? That was insane. I bet she even gives ’70s skating champs a run for their money!

They Were Out For A Standard Scuba Dive...Until This Cuteness Suddenly Attacked

When these divers first saw a strange shape emerging from the depths of the ocean, they probably feared for their safety. But after they immediately discovered that their “attacker” was an adorable little seal, they couldn’t help but join in the cute creature’s antics. Watch the entire interaction below, and you’ll instantly be overcome with joy.

He even invited his friends to the party! I know that if I were those divers, I would just quit with what I planned on doing and spend the entire day with those seals. They’re just so cute!
