In Preparation For Colder Temps, A Family Does This With Their New Puppy...So Cute

When the weather gets cold, it’s important to keep your dog’s sensitive paws protected from the frosty ground. It’s also a great opportunity to see your pup look hilarious as they clumsily try to figure out their doggy snow boots.

This family tries to get their husky prepared early, but the silly girl doesn’t seem to be a fan. Not that she lets the boots slow her down from playing with her brother, though.

Freeeedooom!

They’re going to need to find some stronger laces for this spirited little girl.

This Isn't Just A Boy And His Dog — Their Story Will Leave You In Tears

If you’re a pet owner, you know that in an emergency, it’s almost impossible to imagine leaving without taking your furry (or scaly) friend with you. But some emergencies are more drastic than others, which is why this boy’s story is so impressive.

While he was fleeing from war-torn Syria, this 17-year-old never dreamed of leaving his dog behind. His companion fled with him as he escaped, walking more than 300 miles. She’s been on the road with him ever since. His reasoning? “I love my dog.”

I love my dog!

"Some people will ask – you have only a small bag?""Yes.""And you bring your dog?""Yes.""Why?""I love my dog!"Many animal lovers will relate to this 17-year-old boy from Damascus, Syria. And we"ve seen many like him carrying their animals with them on the long journey from Syria, across the Mediterranean Sea and through Europe. When forced to flee home because of war, many people would never dream of leaving their pets behind.

Aslan isn’t the only person fleeing Syria with hopes of finding a better life. Many others just like him are trekking thousands of miles, bringing their pets with, as well. It’s important that these people know that they are not alone and the efforts to help them will not end until everyone is safe. We wish each and every one of them the best of luck and a speedy path to a new, stable home.

They Saw A Lump On The Side Of The Highway -- And Were Shocked By What They Found

When you bring an animal into your home, you are agreeing to care and provide for them. They aren’t something you can toss aside when you decide they’ve become inconvenient. Unfortunately, too many heartless people believe otherwise and abandon their pets to roam hopelessly, searching for help.

This sweet husky puppy and her mom were found barely hanging in there on the side of a busy road. Thankfully, kinder humans gave them both the second chance they deserve.

At first, they only noticed the small puppy by herself while cars whizzed by.

Then they saw her mom, clearly underweight and in need of a good meal.

She also desperately required treatment for a skin irritation covering her body.

But despite the traumatic ordeal, they still had each other’s love to help them hold on.

They were brought to the Animal Friends Foundation in Bourgas, Bulgaria, where they were given the love and attention they deserved.

They were shy at first, but surprisingly unafraid of the new humans in their lives.

They decided to name the mom Siberia.

The little one now goes by Alaska.

After lots of medicine and food helped her grow back her hair and gain some weight, Siberia’s happy face is now almost unrecognizable.

Alaska is also doing much better and both have found loving forever homes.

Here she is howling with happiness in her family’s backyard.

And Siberia works her way through what I’m sure is the latest of many chew toys.

It’s sad to think about how these two ended up in their tragic situation. How many cars passed them by before someone finally took the time to give them the help they deserved? It doesn’t take much to save lives, just a simple act of kindness. Thank goodness these cuties will never have to worry about fending for themselves ever again.

When It Comes To Cuddles, This Jealous Dog Can't Stand It When She's Not The Star

Deep down, everyone loves to be the center of attention at some point. It feels good to have all eyes on you! But, hopefully, at a young age, we all learned that we have to share the spotlight sometimes…that we’re not the only one who needs attention and affection.

This pup apparently never got the memo!

Good thing it’s adorable!

*Sigh* It’s so hard to say no to our fur babies…

That’s okay, though. Spoiled looks good on them.

Give Huskies A Kiddie Pool...And They'll Throw The Most Adorable Pool Party Ever

Everyone loves a good pool party. Even if you refuse to get your hair wet, or think the water’s way too cold, you can still relax on the side, enjoy some summertime snacks, or grab a water gun and start an epic fight. And as it turns out, that summertime delight isn’t limited to just us humans. Because after watching these three adorable huskies enjoying a pool party, there’s no doubt they feel the same way.

I definitely don’t think they’re worried about how their hair looks. It’s almost as if these dogs have springs in their legs! I think we can agree these dogs love pool parties about as much as the next guy.

This Sweet Husky Comforts An Insanely Nervous Cat At The Vet -- My Heart Is Melting

Does anyone ever really like going to a doctor’s appointment? It could be an innocent checkup, but the fear of being poked and prodded can turn us all back into tiny babies wishing we had someone to hold our hand throughout the whole ordeal.

Luckily for this sweet kitten, her husky best friend was right there to give comforting cuddles when she got nervous at her vet appointment. The adorable pup is so worried about her little friend and just wants to keep her calm.

I’m sure the kitten will return the favor when it’s the husky’s turn on the table. These precious friends totally have each other’s back.

This Little Husky Puppy's First Try At A Howl Will Melt All Your Worries Away

Huskies are known for their wolf-like howling abilities, but this lil’ pup still needs some practice after his first adorable attempt. The sweet baby just doesn’t have the pipes for it yet, but that won’t stop him from trying.

It’s okay, little dude, no one is great at something their first time. Meanwhile, all our hearts have melted into actual mush.

Husky Puppy Attempts His First Howl

Huskey"s first howl is the most adorbs thing you will see today…

That itty-bitty howl just made all my worries evaporate. Nothing can beat this amount of cuteness.

When It's Time For A Bath, This Husky Has A Lot To Say About It

When it’s bedtime, all a dog wants to do is to crawl onto his nice big puff and dream those doggie dreams, full of tennis balls to chew on and squirrels to chase after. All that stands between this pup and his sweet dreams? A bath. And as it turns out, he is not at ALL happy about it.

Not. One. Bit.

Aww, come on, just learn to enjoy the little things in life!

This Hilarious Husky Dog Wants To Play...Or, Wait, Does He?

One of the joys of pet ownership is hilariously taunting our four-legged friends with their toys. Their adorably anxious faces are just too funny to pass up. This silly husky, however, is totally turning the tables.

Either that, or he’s not 100% sure how playtime actually works. Whatever the reason, he’s so cute while he teases his owner with his toy.

“Hey, wanna play? JK!”

He might be open to negotiations if there’s a treat or two involved…

When He Catches His Bad Dog, The Husky Refuses To Go Down Without A Fight

When you leave all of your evidence behind after doing something wrong, you need to have some kind of alibi, or at least a sob story to buff up your defense. This husky clearly didn’t have any strategy or plan when he committed his crime, but he sure did have a lot to yap about once all was said and done. Despite the destruction…

It’s still pretty adorable!

Maybe he’s actually just oblivious?

But on second thought, I don’t think this pup has any idea he needs an alibi. He’s just owning up to what he did — heck, he’s even proud of it!

This Sweet Husky Could NOT Be Happier About His New Pool

These hot August days can really get to you. You’ve already suffered through June and July, and although the easy-breezy days of summer are great, you’re almost wishing for September to come. Well, this husky pup just changed his daydreaming from jumping into piles of leaves, to…

Splashing in his new pool!

I guess any body of water will do, though!

As long as there are nice, refreshing pools to jump into, summer can stay as long as it wants, in my opinion!

Long. Live. Summer!

A Pup Had Rubber Bands Scarring His Snout, And Shattered Legs Before This Rescue

Ranch Dog Rescue in California recently rescued a pup severely in need of medical attention.

When they found him, his mouth was clamped shut with rubber bands so tight that they left gashes down to the bone. Thankfully, he’s on the road to recovery, but the first five months of his life were full of neglect and abuse.

In addition to his snout scars, his back legs were shattered and required intense orthopedic surgery.

His former owner, a female marine, claimed that the pup, now named Kane, fell off the kitchen counter…

But then went on to say he got stuck in a door, which then turned into a baby gate. Vets all agree that the extent of injury is a clear indicator of abuse, and the convoluted alibis don’t help the defense in the ongoing investigation.

The lacerations on his snout may look like surface wounds…

But the original gashes went all the way down to the bone — the rubber bands were that tight.

His teeth were also rotting in his mouth, as it was constantly clamped shut.

As soon as Ranch Dog Rescue posted Kane’s picture and story, a huge influx of interest flooded their inbox…

Once Kane is 100% healed and has undergone physical therapy, he’ll leave his foster home and enter a loving forever home.

Just listen to him finally get to roar that famous Husky grumble!

What an improvement!!! Kane woke up singing the song of his people, ready for breakfast! I was able to catch a bit of it…

The investigation of Kane’s abuse is still ongoing at this point, but at least that means that the authorities are being thorough.

With that smile and tail-wag, we’re sure that he’ll find his forever home in no time at all!
