Freddie Mercury cancelled a duet with Michael Jackson because Jackson insisted on bringing his llama to the studio!

Michael Jackson wasn't known for being normal. On the contrary, he was a very odd guy with some serious issues. However, some of his quirks were funnier than others.

Freddie Mercury, the lead vocalist for the rock band Queen, found this out the hard way.

Mercury and Jackson discussed recording a duet together, and finally got together to do it. However, Jackson decided to bring his pet llama to the recording studio. Why? We may never know.

Mercury couldn't handle the desert animal's presence though. He called his manager to get him out of the duet, and the two singers never finished the track.

Despite the odd situation, Mercury came to regret walking away from the duet. He noted that the song would likely have been on Jackson's ultra-successful Thriller album if they had finished it.
