A never-made Jackie Chan movie nearly predicted the events of 9/11!

Bad timing is something that befalls all of us at some point in our lives. Some folk run into it more than others, but generally the results are measured more in terms of embarrassment than anything else.

For big business, a bout of bad timing can cost lots of money, especially when the stock market is involved.

But in late 2000, comedy action star Jackie Chan encountered a case of not only bad timing, but also a rather chilling scrape with reality. Chan was scheduled to start working on a new action movie called "Nosebleed" set in New York. The movie was to feature Chan as a window washer that foils a terrorist attack.

Rather freakishly, the movie called for Chan to be a window washer working on the Twin Towers. The plot has him stumbling on a terrorist plot to destroy the Statue of Liberty.

Filming was to begin in September 2001, but for a variety of reasons the movie was delayed, and Chan flew to Canada to begin working on the movie Tuxedo instead, expecting to delay production of Nosebleed until he was done.

Filming of Tuxedo started on 10 September 2001 and, needless to say, Nosebleed was cancelled following the attacks on 11 September.
