In August of 2008, Suge Knight was arrested on drug and aggravated assault charges in Las Vegas. When police arrived at the strip club he was leaving they found him beating his girlfriend and brandishing a knife. It was suspected that he was under the influence of a couple different drugs.
After a couple months went by, the police and prosecutors could not contact his girlfriend and victim, Melissa Isaac. She failed to charge Knight with any formal charges so he was cleared of everything in December. The prosecution couldn’t proceed due to “discovery problems and witness problems.”
Knight said “God is good, Happy Holidays” when he learned of his cleared name. Not much was spoken of Isaac after that and it's unclear whether she ever showed up or if foul play was afoot.
