Savewalterwhite.com from Breaking Bad is real and it raises money to fight cancer!

The anti-hero of AMC's hit show Breaking Bad is cancer-stricken Walter White. While White may sell meth in order to pay for his hospital bills and support his family, most cancer patients don't do that. Thankfully. Many do need help paying their bills though.

In season two of Breaking Bad, White's son creates a makeshift website, SaveWalterWhite.com, that asks for donations for his father. AMC created a real-life version of the site to benefit real-life cancer patients. Visitors to the site could donate to the nonprofit organization, The National Cancer Coalition (NCC). The NCC provides those in need with quality health care and drugs.

About three years after the site was launched in 2009, over 1 million people had clicked the "click here to donate" button, and it had raised $125,000. It continues to run and collect donations.
