As a man, we are often told that looking at women is something to be frowned upon and derided. Somewhat predictably I disagree wholeheartedly with this. Admiring a woman’s beauty, when done in the right way, is nothing but a compliment.
Women often make a huge song and dance about being catcalled and stared at, but in essence it’s just a man finding a woman attractive. Surely there is nothing wrong with that? Obviously I’m not condoning some of the really sleepy stuff that obviously does go on.

I understand why some women don’t enjoy the experience of being catcalled, I really do. Not only can it make women feel unsafe on the street, but often it’s an unwanted opinion on their looks. However it’s worth remembering that while men can often by unsubtle, they are often just expressing their compliments to a beautiful lady. Cut us some slack girls.
