When you’re teeny-tiny and totally curious, the world can be a very dangerous place. This poor little kitten found himself in a sad situation when his adventurous spirit got him stuck between a rock and a hard place— literally.
Luckily, a homeowner in the Rhode Island neighborhood heard his cries for help and called for animal control authorities to rescue the sweet lil’ guy.
At only two weeks old, they were shocked he managed to hang in for so long without food or water.
He was in so tight that they had to call the fire department.
They brought out the jaws of life…a first for their rescue team.
Finally free, they named him Stunner and brought him to the safety of an emergency foster home.
The best news? He already has a forever home lined up once his health is stable!

The poor little fella was covered in fleas, dehydrated, and super skinny when they finally squeezed him out of the sticky situation. Thank goodness there were kind hands readily available to clean him up and give him love.
