Günther Krabbenhöft has recently gone viral after being photographed at the Kotbusser Tor station in Berlin looking more stylish than men half his age. While reports originally listed Krabbenhöft’s age at 104, the man behind the stylish clothes has since come out via Facebook (yes he is stylish and on Facebook and old enough to be your grandpa) and said he is far younger, closer to 70-years-old.
At 70-years-old you can get away with wearing just about anything no matter how out of style it might be. This stylish grandpa has kept up with the times by staying true to his own unique style fit for any modern day runway. In fact, today’s hipsters from all over the world could take a few fashion pointers from Krabbenhöft.
Krabbenhöft doesn’t see what all of the fuss is about. He writes online, “I find that I dress pretty normal. I’ve always dressed like this. When I went to work, when I go to exercise. I want to look at myself with joy. It’s also always a reflection of my inner self.”
This well-dressed gentleman isn’t just stylish, but he’s also easy-going. While many people might be upset at the Internet for saying they are 104 when they are really only 70, Krabbenhöft couldn’t care less. In fact, he said on Facebook that he finds the age mix-up rather funny. Just like his style he is clearly cool and laid back, an icon for people young and old to aspire after.
