The Fairy Glen, Conwy

The Fairy Glen is a secluded gorge on the River Conwy, There are numerous walks in the area that will bring you to places like the Fairy Falls as well as the chance to view a significant population of rare ferns and lichens as well as gorgeous flowering plants like early purple orchid.

Skomer Island

Located just off the Pembrokeshire Coast, Skomer Island offers spectacular scenery as well as the chance to view all types of bird life, including puffins as the home of the largest Atlantic puffin colony in southern Britain, and about half the world’s population of Max shearwaters nest here too.

Pistyll Rhaeadr, Powys

One of the Seven Wonders of Wales, Pistyll Rhaeadr is the highest waterfall in England and Wales at 240-feet high. Visitors have been returning generation after generation to take in the almost magical presence felt here.

Conwy Castle
