Being an orphaned animal makes for an exceptionally tough life. Once a creature is orphaned, its chances of survival are often significantly lowered, and it becomes at risk of disease and early death.
That’s why so many wildlife preservation societies exist today. Without these brave people and their efforts to rescue orphaned animals, we would never get to meet cuties like Scotty the wallaby. He was orphaned when his mother was killed on the road. We can all be thankful for the kind people of Exceptional Kangaroo Island for saving Scotty:
Say hi to Scotty!
He’s still got a lot of growing to do…
Which is why he needs to be fed every four hours!
Official: We’ve just found the cutest video EVER. Here’s Scotty the wallaby having dinner! Video: Exceptional Kangaroo Island#KangarooIsland #SouthAustralia
